Powhatan has occasional town parades where veterans and military personnel are honored. There are events like the Pork Festival, the Festival of the Grape, the Bullnanza, and many charitable events. The local newspaper, the “Powhatan Today” is a must have for anyone moving to the county! And talk about good food! Pick from several local restaurants for freshly made, delicious home-made food. Go to “The County Seat” for lunch. You won’t be disappointed! Stop in at the “Four Seasons” for a dinner with friends. Rosa’s Pizza Restaurant is another fantastic choice!
